And exactly for this reason there were again and again attempts to make flying accessible to a broad public. This dream remained a dream− until the flight simulator arrived. Anyone, who can operate a PC, can also fly now!

The requirements
All you need is a PC or Apple computer with a graphic card and a free USB port. Simply connect the controller, also called Commander, to the computer. As soon as the program is installed and depending on your prior flight experience you may attempt your first flights with a fixed wing trainer or a training helicopter.
Flying and practicing
In particular the aerofly Professional and the aerofly5 offer flying lessons in their numerous training programs, such as landing aid, adjustable degree of control assistance for the helicopter hovering sessions or as contests for advanced and expert pilots. The support possibilities of the computer are unmatched and no flesh-and-blood flight trainer will be as patient as your computer.
Having a good time
Besides all that flying and practicing there is still another third aspect: The fun factor! And with a flight simulator you certainly get your fair share of that. A crash is history after 3 seconds, because that’s the time it takes to take off again with the “repaired” model. As there are no malfunctioning landing gears or flaps, plain flying fun is prominent. Not only does the engine always start and the batteries are always charged, you are not even limited to the cold seasons to fly half way around the world. You will always have access to a tremendous wealth of wonderful model aircraft you may not be able to afford in real life.
Fly together with friends
Meet others to fly together. For example with a second pilot on the same computer in order to practice glider towing, or fly on the aerofly5 with up to 15 pilots in multi-player mode on one of the multi-player servers in the Internet. Meet for Fly-Ins and enjoy this wonderful hobby together. Making new friends from around the world is pre-programmed!
It still gets better!
On top of all this fun there are the 4D sceneries of the aerofly5. Time of day, fog, wind force, wind direction, clouds and your models take-off position − everything is freely adjustable. The stronger the wind the more the trees will sway and the trickier the landing will become. In a very short time you will immerse into the 4D scenery and experience the virtual world as another reality. All the way to your own scream when the beautiful model disintegrates into its individual parts in a spectacular crash.
Boundless freedom
At times when you are still a child at heart you will grab a jet, heli or any other model aircraft and fly in Cockpit or Follow Mode through barns, tunnels and even caves.
However, if you feel like doing some slope soaring, simply move up any hill in the Walking Mode, grab a slope soaring glider and go wild in the updraft. Or you go to one of the beautiful beaches in aerofly5 and practice with a seaplane.The possibilities are proverbially boundless!
